History
The Temple of Peace is a building designed to change the world. Founded in November 1938, the Temple was conceived by Lord David Davies of Llandinam after his experience serving in the trenches during the First World War. In addition to acting as a memorial to those who lost their lives during the conflict, he wanted it to be a place of inspiration, somewhere that actively furthered the causes of peace, justice and health.
Venue Hire
You can hardly miss the huge pillars facing you as you enter the portico of Portland Stone, with three full-height windows overlain with art deco copper grills peaked by sculpted friezes representing Health, Justice and Peace. Built as the nation’s memorial to the fallen of World War One, this iconic space was gifted to the future generations of Wales to lift hearts and horizons. Why not make it yours for a day?
