We are delighted to announce that Henk Hilderink, Foresight Expert from the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), will be joining us in the Temple of Peace, Cardiff, on Thursday 5th February.

During his visit, Henk will deliver a three-hour introductory workshop on Strategic Foresight for organisational leaders and those aspiring to become leaders in the future.

What is Strategic Foresight?
Strategic foresight is a systematic and proactive approach to exploring and anticipating future trends, challenges, and opportunities in order to inform and guide decision-making and strategy development. It draws on a range of methods, including scenario planning, trend analysis, and stakeholder engagement, to better understand the complex and uncertain forces shaping the future, and to develop actionable insights and recommendations for organisations.

There are 25 spaces available for this workshop.

If you would like to attend, please get in touch with our global learning team on centre@cymruglobal.org.uk

We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a highly valuable session.

If you are interested in finding out more about foresight but are not able to attend the course,  perhaps you would like to look at our self study course exploring futures thinking. The course, which explores approaches to using futures thinking in the classroom, offers tools and approaches to developing a vision of a “preferred future” and the steps we can support learners to take in working towards it.

If you’re interested, take a look at the “For Teachers” section of the website. The course is free to use and can be completed when it’s convenient for you.
